It is Thursday(august 21st) evening 5:15pm PST and I predict that Obama will announce the VP candidate tomorrow morning by 9am PST. The announcement has to be early so as to be on all the news cycles tomorrow and over the weekend.
The candidate will be Joe Biden. Since Obama made the decision during his vacation when Georgia dominated the news, I predict Biden will be the choice. It would have also made sense to pick someone with a strong business/economy background but doesnt seem any of the top tier candidates have that background and I dont see Obama reaching out for an unknown.

Money laundering Republicans
From my response to "Career Day Trader" on newsweek
Careerdaytrader - as your title implies you have never produced any honest goods that can be exported. Its money launders like you and those real estate agents who are responsible for electing Republicans. The main reason I am hesitant to leave my 100K+ job(at a multi billion dollar company exporting billions of dollars) to start a company is because I will no longer have any healthcare. Even though I have never visited a doctor in the last 7 years, the risk of not having coverage is holding me back as a single severe illness can wipe out my savings. But you money laundering Republicans have no idea how a real good is produced. You think you can just circulate money and have the Chinese, Russians and Arabs pay for our debts.Barack is going to create 5 million jobs by enabling investments in alternative fuel industries and bio technology, just like Clinton and Gore did with technology companies. If you are looking for money circulating jobs that pay millions just to circulate paper money around you are likely going to be disappointed. That is a trick only the Republicans can conjure and now the entire country is paying for it.

Read this article
Desperate Georgians ask: Where is America?
http://www.newsweek.com/id/151970
American military power is a fuckin joke and its all you idiots who keep sending Republicans into office who are to blame. The nation is now whored to the Chinese for its debt, to the Arabs and Russians for oil and scared of Paki nukes to go after Bin Laden. Bush and McCain run around like dickless wimps. The only thing we can do is bomb innocent Iraqis and you stupid idiots think that Bin Laden is in Iraq. Pathetic.

How McCain and his corporate buddies are twisting the arms of American workers
They wont be satisfied until the average American is making $5 an hour while they are perched in their million dollar mansions like Cindy and John McCain.
Here is the latest example of Walmart trying to force its workers to vote for McCain
"The Wal-Mart human-resources managers who run the meetings don't specifically tell attendees how to vote in November's election, but make it clear that voting for Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama would be tantamount to inviting unions in, according to Wal-Mart employees who attended gatherings in Maryland, Missouri and other states.
"The meeting leader said, 'I am not telling you how to vote, but if the Democrats win, this bill will pass and you won't have a vote on whether you want a union,'" said a Wal-Mart customer-service supervisor from Missouri. "I am not a stupid person. They were telling me how to vote," she said." - Wall Street Journal

Another day... another Republican attack ad
Today John McCain released another attack ad. This time showing Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. Is this what the people of this country want to hear right now??
Last week a lady in Massachussetts commited suicide and John McCain's advisor at that time said Americans are whiners complaining about imaginary economic problems.
I considered myself an independant but now I am firmly rejecting the usual Republican smear tactics to divert the nation's attention from the real issues. If we dont then we will never get out of this morass.
I will talk more about the politics and policies that led us here but for today I am pledging to donate $25 to Barack Obama's campaign for every new attack ad that McCain releases even if it bankrupts me. Please join me in this effort so we can send a message to all politicians that America will not be fooled by diversionary smear tactics again.
Wasn't it a true Republican who once said "You can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time but not all the of the people all the time" - Abe Lincoln?
